Neither Genius nor Zoho can produce a clean tax-inclusive 50% down-payment invoice on their own, so this tool fills the gap.
- Genius can't: an order isn't entered into Genius until it's paid, and it can't be invoiced until it's complete and shipped. A down payment happens before either of those, so Genius has no invoice to generate at that point.
- Zoho technically can, but not correctly: Zoho can generate an invoice, but only for the full order amount, not a 50% down payment. Reps have worked around this by adding a negative line item for -50% of the total — but if the order has tax, that math breaks too, so the result isn't a true, clean 50% down invoice.
This tool reads the source PDF directly and builds a proper down-payment invoice — correct line items when available, correct tax-inclusive grand total, and a clean percentage split — without touching Genius or Zoho's invoicing logic.
